Western PA | One way to manage marestail is to use a fall burn down since it is a winter annual. RoundUp and dicamba make a good tank mix to kill the weed when it's small and easier to manage. Another proposed method I have talked to extension weed specialists about is an early spring burn down with RUp and dicamba followed by your pre emergent application close to planting time to get your residual such as valor xlt etc. further into the growing season. | |
