My contract spelled out that I had to use seed from Schillinger Genetics, their Emerge brand soybean hybrid #389 which is a food grade Non-GMO soybeasn. Suppose to have clear hylum and to be used to make tofu for the Japanese export market. Part of the reason given for SunOpta regecting my bean crop was that it had to many black hylums in it.
