South Texas | Ha! No idea - although our check off and modern terms like the name "grain sorghum", it's been maize forever down here. Maybe old habits die hard.
Found these pics a while back - think they're from a few miles north of here. Not sure who took them, but probably copyrighted. I started on a 105, but just young enough to have missed combining maize with an umbrella in south texas heat.
