Jackson County, AL | We planted 47,48, and 49 Ts last year and liked them enough to go back the Pioneers in a big way with 12 Proboxes from 3.9 to 4.9. We had quit planting P beans up until last year. All the Ps yielded with the Asgrows in the same maturity and except for one place didn't seem to go down as bad. The 47s got the tallest and lodged. The 48s cut the best and yielded with the others and didn't get very tall in 15" rows, maybe waist high on me and I'm 5'10". The best thing about the 48s were they were a free 20 bags the P rep brought us to try. |
