NE Iowa
If I use a hand sprayer I mix it as strong as if I was using 10 gallon per acre of carrier. So in you example of 1 pint / acre I would add about 5 oz. in a 3 gallon sprayer.

Math: 16 oz. (1 pint) divided by 10 (gallons per acre) equals 1.6 oz. per gallon. So 1.6 times 3 is 4.8 oz. per 3 gallon sprayer. Round up to 5.
