200 is 40 more than last year and it made about 185. Not the best soil, <1% to about 3% om. Maybe we are light on N, but shouldn't be stressing the 1 st of July. I know what you mean by c:n ratio of corn fodder being high, but I feel (and I could be all wet) fodder laying on top and not incorporated into the soil profile ties up less n. 100# AMS pre plant and 17 gal. 22-0-0-4 dribbled early last week. I now it's a weather thing,,, just wanting to commiserate .
