S Illinois
Fuller season the better and plant them thicker. 15in would likely do better but depends on how much you have to do and the shapes of holes. We are in a 3.8-4.4 area and that late of beans must be treated like double crop which puts us in the 4.5-4.7 type range. So the longer maturity bean the better within reason. Probably not how you planned it, but it can be somewhat profitable to take a full failed corn payment and then non-insure the late planted beans. Also look for a tall lanky type bean if possible.

Edit: Also make sure you seed dealer knows these are replants after corn. Some companies offer a greater discount when the beans are considered corn replants instead of straight bean replants.
