Thanks to both of you. Profound life changes.

They intentionally wait that long to let the cover crop mature to the point where you have enough biomass to make it work.

The longer you can wait the more likely you can kill it mechanically.

I think there is no way around leaving a gap in the roller assembly on the twin line Kinze, but you have so may tires right in the center it isn't a huge deal.
