WCIN | Our anniversary is coming up in a couple weeks, it's not a big one and our first grandchild is do the same week so we need to stay close to home. My wife said its no big deal and the grandchild is way more important, we'll just have steaks out of the freezer or go have dinner at a local place and I agreed.
I was thinking though about making her a nice dinner at home. Maybe some nice steaks from on line like Wagyu or something of better quality than I can get local. I don't mind spending the money but don't want to spend $100-200 on 2 steaks, only to end up with somthing less quality than CAB at Meijer for $40-50.
Anybody have any experience in this area? Or another suggestion? My wife is a meat and potatoes kind of gal, steak, chops, some mild tasting fish is about it. She will eat lettuce salad and asparagus but that's about the limit of "eating her greens" as she gets. | |
