| I live an hour east of StL and it's wet and lots of fields look like crap. I was only able to plant 1 day and spray 1 day for the month of June. I still have 38% of my beans to plant and time is running out.
But NO, unless your ground is underwater, nothing is close to as bad as 2012 was here. My corn averaged 7 bu/ac that year. Not 170, not 70, but 7. Things are not looking good here by any means. Fields that are flat and poorly drained are suffering. Low spots are drowned out and nonexistent. But high ground and well drained slopes look pretty good. In 2012 the first corn fields were appraised near zero and torn up by early July. That continued until labor day. | |
