Normally we spray 45# of 28 on with pre , plus the 35 with the planter,but corn was out of the ground before we could get over it. We then sidedness the balance. Our Cec is around 8-10 avg. if we apply all preplant it is gone before the corn even needs it. Most guys run 28 around here. Some guys love gas some hate it. I do think it hard on the ground but that's a debate for another post. I personally would rather work with liquid over gas just because of safety and the ease of on farm storage.
