We have run both really hard and lots of acres on 13ft or bigger. After 2 years our deeres were pretty well done and the nh was still going after 4 seasons. Deere needed a bigger tractor and more fuel too. Deere cut nicer but that was the only advantage. The smaller deere seems to be doing well for several around here. Make sure it's a 2 point hookup.
