Central IA | Brother uses a 605L, simply and makes tight bale. Net wrap can at time be troublesome. Would not hesitate from a Vermeer. If the net wrap always worked , easy to do a lot of bales, maybe 3 a minute. I do hire brother for all round baleing needs. And the bales are 5 x 6 very tight and good shoulders. I do believe that is more operator.
Seems the new balers have wider pickups and augers to pack shoulders better. Less operator skill needed. I just looked at a new MF 2956A. Don't do that much hay, but it was nice! | |
