WCIN | Started with a 605g and now have a 505I, my dealer is about 80mi away. Only ever had to get a few things from them and they have been good about sending them to me in a day or two, never actually been there just talked over the phone. Most of the common things are available locally and are generic, bearings, sprockets, chains, belts and splices, that sort of thing. Really basic and simple, easy to work on balers, my neighbor has a JD 510 which would be around the same vintage and it is a nightmare to work on compaired to mine.
My thinking was I doubt NH or JD would have parts in stock for older balers anyhow and if you have to order it might as well get a baler that is easy to work on. | |
