Glad to see some "hope" in a sea of darkness. We didn't plant less beans yet... lot of guys struggling to get them in, but there are a lot of beans going in. A quarter a mile ease of me, that has been corn on corn since 1970 is beans this year. I would defer to kggonzo's comment a few days ago about $5 corn and $9 beans. if we plant way more beans I am guessing the corn acre number is way too high. On another note, we didn't get a frost rally or premium, but we did get a "non event" frost selloff. Not too hard to figure that out, a premium is not profitable to a short, but selling a "non event" frost is, might as well take another donut on the way out the office...
