Just had this come by Twitter.
i guess it is bad to carefully move a gene into a plant but OK to cross breed and just randomly find a gene that works for your needs and then multiply that out with no tests on what it might do to those who eat it.

I understand that celery can be poisonous with some traits that come through in cross breeding as are potatoes with the wrong breeding.
