NEIA | #1 Row shut offs. Literally payed for itself in the first 600 acres back in the $7 corn days and is helping to keep costs down now. (It was a rough 600 acres with a lot of point rows and waterways)
#2 Swath control. I run without it several years as I was too stubborn to pay JD for blue sky. Definitely paid for itself.
#3 Auto steer. Obvious reasons.
#4 Row finder and auto height control for the cornhead. Might not think too much of it till you have a field of tangled up corn.
#5 This might not be electronic technology but a chopping cornhead. Makes dealing with BT stalks a LOT easier. I'm positive it has paid for itself in fuel, labor, and machinery depreciation trying to break down residue later. | |
