Great question.
Here in central PA, our 5 year corn to soybean average yield ratio is about 3.34. In 2014 that ratio is about 3.8. Also, our 5 year corn to soybean average cash price ratio is about 0.45. In 2014 that ratio is about 0.42. We have never planted acreage based on market prices and have no plans to change that MO in the future.
