NE Iowa | Blend it all together and spread it on. You are talking over 700# of product per acre so may want to set spread at half rate and double spread for less chance of streaking. I've done nothing but broadcast P & K for 20 years with no incorporation and got along fine. The P will only make it a couple inches down but plenty of roots close to the surface to be able to get at it. I typically spread my K in the fall but save my P applications for the spring. For the most part all P comes with N and I don't want to risk losing the N with a fall application. | |
