Subject: Papaw, Garvo and other experienced cattlemen

We all know that at somepoint this market will crash, we just dont know when or how. Having personaly been involved in the cattle business only long enough to experience a rising market (except for 2012 drought).
Would you care to explain what caused the drops in the market in the previous cycles you have been involved in? Was there anything leading up to the drop that caused you to think that a drop was coming?
How long did it take from the time the prices first started droping to return to their previous price level?
Hindsight is always 20/20 but what would/have you been doing differently
