Nebraska, The land of corn and cattle

We had the same experiance with Kentucky cattle, not saying all of them are bad but we were feeding for a guy who bought them out of KY and we fought mycroplasma like you wouldnt believe, and this was the first experiance anyone around here had with myrco in cattle, we gave them any drug you could think of, pulled and worked calves every day, at one time we had about 30 chronics in our sick pen, it was nothing to lose 1-2 or more a day. I have no idea what the drug bill was, and Im glad I wasnt paying it, but he'd send us the big bottles of Nuflor by the case. They were cheaper cattle when he bought them, but by the time they left, the ones that lived were way higher than he couldve got local cattle. That experiance soured us on any cattle out of the southeast.
