Yes, change in CPI formula would change numbers shown in my graph. I used an average annual inflation rate of 3.5% from the published CPI rate table shown in attached spreadsheet. I will recompute inflation adjusted corn price using the published CPI rate for each year shown in that spreadsheet and update my graph.
Thanks for asking that question, it will make some difference, not sure if that difference will be significant.
