Alentejo, Portugal | Here's a pic of the parts. The left one broke the threads that screws the pulley into the plunger. The right ones both broke the magnets.
The weight of the cluster holds the spring down, when you pick it up it is supposed to go up and a sensor in the top of the tube senses the magnetic field and starts milking. They also open a valve so air gets in the tube so you don't have to pull on the cord to come down.
If those springs were stronger they would work. Or if you could take them apart and "stretch" the springs a bit it might work also. But they don't come apart and only the complete part is sold...
Edit: you have the narrower SS tubes so parts may not be the same but they work the same way...
Another thing, 10" is a lot of difference in deck height! Didn't have back problems with your milkers?
