NESD | I had a crown done on a rear molar about two months ago, other than the sting from the adhesive for about 20 minutes on the temporary crown I had no tooth pain but for the 2 1/2 weeks I had the temp crown I had a constant stomach ache, I went to the Dr. and based on the symptoms he thought I had a stomach bug to he put me on antibiotics which did nothing, a few days after I finished the antibiotics I went in for the permanent crown, with-in 18 hours of having the temp crown removed my stomach ache was almost gone and never returned. I did some research and found that many people have experienced stomach pain while having certain temp crown products.
This is the third crown by this dentist with no previous problems, I will be going back in a couple weeks for my bi-annual cleaning so will have to talk with him about what happened to get his take on this. |
