In my case, the language of the contract allowed me to trade or do whatever. After all, it is to be set up as a lease to own. You sign the contract and are on the hook whether you keep it or haul it to the scrap yard. I probably wouldn't believe my CPA because he was kind of a screwball, but my attorney is super anal about passing the test with the IRS scrutiny, and he gave it his blessing.
