Finley, ND | I picked up a '78 875 last fall for $8k, but I also knew it needed a few bucks worth of fixes. Needed a water pump, some hydraulic work and a wheel seal. But I figured it was probably a $12-13k tractor with all the fixes. That's for a newer tractor with better tires and an 855 instead of a 903. Don't get me wrong, 903s are good engines if taken care of, but most have now seen multiple owners and several hours of use and abuse. I'd value a series 1 900 with poor tires and many little odd fixit jobs at slightly higher than scrap. It'll do way more work than it's worth, but that's just what they seem to bring. $3500-4500 I'd say.
