Subject: RE: Fluted/Ripple Coulter for John Deere Planter

Davidson County NC
I run the 13 wave on my 7000 planter. I used bubble coulters one time in wheat stubble and it was the worst stand of soybeans I ever had. The beans that were planted with the drill that same year in wheat stubble using a 13 wave coulter did fine. You may want to try a few acres of double crop beans with the bubble coulter before planting all of your double crop acres with them.
