Frytown, Iowa | Well this crap thread has gone from basis to bins...
Sat bins will pay as long as there is carry... Even in the past years when it paid to forward contract it almost always paid to market the July verse the December... Currently for new crop there is almost 20 cents which could be half or all of guys profit this year...
Also with bins you can call for bids and usually get better basis from the bin... That could easily be another 10 cents...
It all adds up. I believe 2012 was the only year it wasn't worth it around "here"
I wish I had bins. Just not in my foreseeable plan as of "now" | |
