I'm going to start selling anything over 500# one gooseneck a week. Hard to argue that it makes sense to take to 850# or even 700#. I thought prices would have been creeping up by now. Don't know how weather will affect market either. I think WP has had either a partial or no sale for last 3-4 weeks. Wonder if everyone that would have sold last 3-4 weeks will show up next week and if they do, how does it affect price? if we believe supply and demand there hasn't been a good sale in a month and buyers would need calves for orders. But, the supply and demand theory doesn't make sense with cattle. Talked with Randy earlier and he's expecting several head to start showing up when people can get trailers out. |
