North Central Illinois | I would also go with Aumann Auctions out of Nokomis Illinois. They can do in person auctions, internet auctions, or any combination of the two. My guess is they would separate the collection into at least three different lots. The premium or high dollar items would likely be done as an onsite auction with internet bidding as well. I would guess the rest of the stuff would be internet only depending on how big the collection is. These guys are very reputable and have the connections to get the right people involved with the bidding. I don't know what they charge but they don't work for free. I'm not sure what the market for toys is right now but I would guess like a lot of other things it might be kind of soft. After paying the auctioneer I don't know how much money she will really end up with but at least she will be rid of them. | |
