Before or at flower seems to work for me but interested in the timing also. This 100 lbs AMS on 2% OM CEC 10-12. Tried mowing the tops off before flower, seems to stimulate branching and pod setting more than Cobra. And, my soil is high due to gypsum applications and still get a response so it may be because of the way AMS works, I am not sure.
