If you want to use your a computer make sure you can get it hooked up to the TV. My computer did not have a HDMI port. So I got a DVI to HDMI adapter but DVI does not support sound and if a HDMI cable is plugged into my TV the TV only looks for sound on the HDMI port. To make a loooooooong story short I used a VGA cable with audio cable to run the TV and a DVI cable to run the computer monitor.

I can't understand why anyone would make a 25 pin plug that would not have a way to transmit audio.
