Western-Central Lower Michigan | First, GET A BACK UP HARD DRIVE. One day your hard drive WILL fail. If you dont have a back up your pictures are gone forever.
If you already have those pictures backed up, good for you.
I also keep pictures Day/Date, but have made the mistake of creating folders and subfolders which made for "lost" or "where are they" pictures. I wish I had every picture in one big folder(by day date), but by using a photo program such as Picasa, putting a star or tag on to be able to view by category. A huge undertaking as I am not so good working with folders.
