Pilot Grove, Missouri | I really don't see why an extension should be needed. I'm pretty sure that the one thing that was known early on was that updating yeilds could only be a positive. I'm also pretty sure that the offices were ready to update yeilds before the first of the year. Local director was trying to get people in early to update yeilds and base acres and then come back before the end of March for program election. Most waited until the last week anyway. I feel there was plenty of time and most procrastinated thinking they could save a trip, and found out there is not enough office help to do a whole county in one week. Patrick | |
