| IMHO, it's obvious that repeal of Glass Steagall was a significant factor. It was quite possibly "the final straw". But to say that it "caused" the crisis is just so oversimplified that the only word for it is simplistic. I cannot think of a better word.
It just seems that I see much more complexity when I look around than you or OldMcdonald see. I will admit that a simplified world can be a lot easier to live with. | |
