I thought it was a good enough article it was worth starting a new thread. Although I try to read everything I find from Jim Rickards, don't recall seeing this particular article before back from 2012. Repeal of Glass-Steagall caused the financial crisis The fact that we can't even implement the Volker Bill, which is much watered down attempt at bank regulation and has been watered down even more since passage through the courts and lack of implementation by regulatory agencies, it is likely that our problems concerning the big banks are not over.
