Yes, it would be odd since the price of doing road work is mostly related to oil and fuel prices. 


Which is why it cost a lot more money to pave a mile or plow snow off of a mile in 2015 than it did in 1989 when the previous tax rate was set.


 

 

you honestly think it will go to the roads? Wow Iowa must be completely different than Illinois. Here we buy new trucks, plants trees and paint roads. Then take some roads and put a 3in lift asphalt paint job on and let everyone think the money is being used wisely.
