The all in one is a Ricoh SP C252SF. If I am reading the manual correctly it wants me to setup a destination folder. I don't seem to be able to get the scanner to see the computer so I don't think I am getting the folder set up correctly. Like I said I haven't had much time to play with it and may not for a while yet so just wondered if the NAS or an external hard drive connected to the router might be an easier solution (wouldn't hurt to have the backup storage anyway). The router I have is a Netgear N750. It has usb port so could connect HDD there. The scanner is connected to router via cat5 cable. |
