It seems TV dinners went downhill fast with the advent of microwave ovens becoming popular in early 80's.
Swanson TV dinners in the tinfoil tray cooked in the oven use to be one of my favorite meals as a kid. Mom worked, when she cooked, she could make a darn good meal..... Cooking wasn't her favorite thing to do.
We had TV trays in the living room for an ocasional fun night.
Haven't bought a "TV dinner" in 25 years. Am I missing out? | |
