Stoddard Co. SEMO | My L8000 has the 7.8 ford diesel with a spicer 5 speed transmission. I have a slight rear main leak and the clutch feels as if its slipping but I've never smelled it. The clutch is mechanical linkage and I've never tried adjusting it. I have some pics of the linkage and transmission numbers. Maybe someone can tell me about what type clutch I may need if adjustment doesn't work. The rear main seal leak doesn't seem near severe enough to cause the clutch to get wet but I have been wrong before.
