I'm resurrecting this zombie to show that this can be done, on the oldest ME2 units, and with shaft mount Tru count clutches. This thread prompted me to roll the dice and buy a set of used airbags to go with my new (used) clutches. They are tight but they all fit. I hope this helps someone do the same.
