Hard to be friendly as long as it is bear spreading. That doesn't stop production ......just pushes it to storage and depresses the front month level some more. Rinse and repeat until enough pumps screech to a halt. The market then bull spreads and pulls oil out of storage. That is when you get friendly the front month.
