I have seen some of the places you show, beautiful area to visit. The only folks that can live there are money people and Gov. employees that have Gov. housing. The family and I stayed a week in the area and visited with some friends that worked for the park service.

We got a tour every evening by the park employee, rode horses with the trail crew up in the mountains and visited the old barn that you have pictured, that is the place the movie Shane was filmed

The reason that property is so expensive, the Land Bureau and Park service own all the land surrounding Jackson, they are land locked. The ranching in the area are inland holding by families such as the Reagans, Rockefellers, and Kennedys', or that is what I was told when I was there.
