Thumb of Michigan | Ag Expo started in my county (Tuscola) in the 70's. Regional deal showcasing harvesting equipment. Seemed to be well attended by those that had interest in the specific crops in the area. MSU was going to make it bigger and better, and it probably was for a while. July just doesn't work at all, however. Too many "Too's" involved. Too much wheat left to harvest, too hot, too rainy, too busy with other crops.
I guess I don't know because I never checked, but now wondering how many $ was being made on Ag Expo compared to the costs. I think if it was profitable, it would still happen. Only a guess though.
