Scottville, 49454 Northwest Michigan | To "piggy back" on Bill's comments..... I think it would be kinda hard to pull off an Expo in Michigan. Agriculture in Michigan is very diversified. With this diversity.... very few farmers have a "slow period" during the growing season. I know we don't. Alfalfa, vegetables, corn, soys, wheat, and livestock.... next to impossible to get away in the summer. Last time we had enough of a rainy spell during Ag Expo that enabled us to attend.... was over 20 years ago. Maybe, 30 years ago. In my opinion, that's the way it is for a lot of farmers in Michigan. gordon |
