| GrainTrader - 1/29/2015 14:10 Or plant all corn Fry!
I wish I had prep work done for quite a bit of COC, but we started harvest in the mud, ended it in the mud, it's every bit as muddy now, and most of the tillage/NH3 type of work that did get done was in conditions that sucked. I think there are going to be opportunities to market the upcoming corn crop at very attractive levels eventually, but the conglomeration between Mother Nature and CME Group are going to have to put something together that gives me incentive to plant more corn acres in the face of what doesn't look like the best of agronomy right now. I also remember having outstanding soybean yields with mediocre corn yields following the big corn crop of 2004, who's to say it doesn't pan out like that again too? |
