Woodham, Ontario | 20.8R46 duals are not a lot of tire for that much HP... Maybe the previous owner compensated for the lack of tire area by adding more weight. Main drawbacks are compaction and excessive fuel use. Proper tires, such as 710/70R42 at proper pressure should allow you to ditch a lot of the added weight.
If you want to keep the current tires I would try running it with as little weight as you feel comfortable with. Taking off inner wheel weights is not a fun job... Take the weights of the duals and try it. | |
