Ran them on a Houle 7300. You can get along ok when the stalks are dry but if they are tough in the morning you may end up with a pile of stalks 3 ft high and as wide as the toolbar. Always had a camera to watch the toolbar and stop if it started plugging. Change to a VT applicator a couple years ago and never regretted it.
