Paulding County, Ohio | I had the same thing happen last year, and posted the same question here on NAT. In the end, stuff happens. My co-op was also apologetic, and offered to make it right, although I didn't take them up on it.
What did I do about the ruts? "Nothing".
In my case it was a corn field. I left the ruts there all year for them to spray through/over (3 trips during the growing season). I figured it would remind the operator.
