| A slope sensor should not be relied on to maintain proper grade of a run, there is a few more things to be considered on a cantilever plow the point is "longer" or "deeper" than the bottom of the shank so depending on soil type and condition of the point (worn or new) the plow may be pitched up slightly more than the designed grade to hold the proper grade, without a good gps signal there is no way of the plow knowing if it is digging to deep or not deep enough for the conditions to maintain the proper grade. Slope sensors do a good job at knowing what slope the plow is on but they are altitude or depth blind. Dont skimp on gps signal | |
